What word starts with "C"

Sometimes, it is a little more difficult to get to the answer you want than you think.

(While helping with some word practice with OA)

Mom asks, "What word starts with C?"

OA answers, "Snake." "No," answers Mom, "What do dogs like to chase?"

"Flies!" "No, silly," says Mom trying to keep the laugh to a minimum, "That is just something Porter does. Let's see - what type of animal does Nana have at her house?"

A little pondering by the Wee One. "Lizards!"

Sigh.

"Yes, that too, but what kind of animal is Rascal?" Mom tries again.

"A cat. Cat starts with 'C'!"
